#Anatomy is tomorrow.
while I was searching for videos about Embryology on YouTube, I've found some interesting videos about human development in intra-uterine life. If you are and still wondering how did Allah created us as a human being, well, I recommend you to watch this video. It is quite easy to understand.
Let me tell you a little bit about this video.
As everyone knew (or should know), we existed in this world due to fertilization between our mothers' ovum and our fathers' sperms. but before that occur, do you know how the sperms meet the ovum?
let's make it into an action-romance story (to make it more interesting)
Ovum is a queen. one day, she declare to get married with the one she loves. so, she held a competition to see who is her true love. the competition is opened to anybody who want to take part. The participants (sperms) need to meet her at her castle called Uterine (Fallopian) tube. the first sperm who arrived to her castle and meet her there will be her bridegroom.
The competition is not that easy. The ovum had prepare many stages to test them. there are thousands of sperm that participate in this competition, but most of them fail in early stage.
the first stage is in the long canal called Vagina. inside the canal, there are 'poison gases'. the weak sperms without shield might be died in the canal while the others survive and continue their journey. next stage is to enter a very narrow hole called Cervix. once again, not everyone survive. some of them lost their strength in the hole.
The journey is continued again. now, they enter a wider space called Uterus. at first, everything seems fine. but later on, near the Uterine tube, there are many bodyguards prepared with their weapon. They cannot easily let the strangers go inside the castle and meet the Queen of Ovum. so, the sperms and the bodyguard having some fight. some sperms died while others won the fight and able to enter the way to castle.
inside the Uterine Tube, many of the sperms felt into the trap. only a few, remains alive and have strength to fight. so they continued until they arrived at the castle at the lateral third of Uterine tube. this is the last stage for the sperms. Only one sperm can meet the Queen of Ovum. after the first sperm arrived into the castle, the door is tightly closed. no more sperms are allowed to enter the castle.
Finally, the Queen of Ovum meet her true love - the one who able to survive from each obstacles. He is the hero of her life. so, they get married and live happily ever after.

oke, the story seems to be quite boring and out of the topic sometimes. but this is the only idea I got.
you see, it is such a loooong journey to meet them both. there are so many obstacles that disturbed the journey of swimming sperm towards the ovum. This process known as Fertilization process and it has few stages either in sperm or ovum itself. after the fertilization occur, the fertilized ovum (now it is known as zygote) moves along the Uterine tube and enter the Uterus. here, the next process will occur which is called Implantation process.
the point that I want to stress on is about 'HERO'. as we all know at the end of the action-romance story above, the ovum finally meet her hero. among thousands of sperm that enter the vagina from the beginning, only one able to penetrate into ovum and fertilized. see, who is hero now? don't you think we are the hero at the first place? because I think so. If we are not hero, then we might not born into this life and see this beautiful world, isn't it?
